Well, I have WAY TOO MANY favourite movies, so I had to really pick these at random...

1) Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead (1990)

The pieces of paper blowing around throughout the course of the movie are actually the pages of the Latin Vulgate Bible, as can be seen on the close-up of Rosencrantz's apple pinwheel (specifically, The Prophecy of Zacharias, chapter 8).

2) The Producers (2005)

After Max and Leo do Der Guten Tag Hop Clop with Franz, Max tries to pull open the door. When it doesn't open, he shouts, "We're trapped!". This is an inside joke from the play's run in England. One night, a stage hand had locked the door. When Nathan Lane (Max) tried it, he realized it was locked and shouted out, "We're trapped! Trapped like rats with a crazy Nazi!" A stage hand then went up and unlocked the door and they got out.

3) Stardust (2007)

Whenever Primus is seen travelling on his quest for the stone, he is alone ("primus" is Latin for "first"). Whenever Septimus is seen on his quest, he is accompanied by six servants, making a total of seven in his group ("septimus" is Latin for "seventh").

4) Equilibrium (2002)

John Preston kills 118 characters in this movie, which makes him responsible for exactly half of the total 236 deaths shown. As of 2009, he continues to hold the 3rd place record for most deaths in a movie caused by one character.

5) Casino Royale (2006)

In the shower scene, Vesper was originally scripted to be wearing nothing but her underwear. Daniel Craig argued that Vesper would not have stopped to take her clothes off, and the scene was changed.

6) Monsters, Inc. (2001)

When Sulley is about to say goodbye to Boo, Boo is trying to get him to play. She hands him a Jessie doll from Toy Story 2 (1999) as well as Nemo The Clownfish from Finding Nemo (2003). The yellow ball with the red star on the floor is the ball from the Pixar animation, Luxo Jr. (1986).

7) Hamlet (1996)

Robin Williams and Billy Crystal were not allowed to be on the set at the same time during filming, for fear they would crack up the cast and crew, and cause major production delays.

8) Mamma Mia! (2008)

Pierce Brosnan had no idea what the project was about when he signed on: the producers told him it was being filmed in Greece and Meryl Streep was starring and he agreed. Brosnan declares that he would have signed on for anything involving Meryl. He described her as "that gorgeous blonde I fancied terribly in Drama School".

9) V For Vendetta (2005)

The reason the secret police are called "Fingermen" is because the New Order was arranged on the model of the human body. The Chancellor was the Head, the television station BTN was the mouth, visual and audio surveillance were the Eye and the Ear, Inspector Finch was part of the Nose, the police force, and Creedy's secret police were the Hand.

Good guys in the movie use Google and bad guys use Yahoo! search engines.
