Oh no :-(
My female Purple Cichlid (P. pulcher) died today. :-(

I kinda saw it coming, though... She had been in pretty bad shape for the last week or so. Breathing a little more heavily than normal, hiding away, no longer coming out to eat... And the last couple of days pretty much just lying on the ground, not being able to move at all anymore since yesterday... Poor thing. :-((
So it's actually a bit of a relief that her torment is finally over.
I really have no idea what was wrong with her. :-( I only had her for one and a half years. *sighs*
At least I still have 5 of her babies to remember her by...

It's not like she's the first fish I've lost, far from it...
But apart from my sweetheart (who I now have more than 2 years) ♥ and two others, she was the only one I've actually had for such a long time. The others sort of come and go (*sighs*)...
So there was some kind of attachment, I guess. :-(

Loosing a "pet" makes very sad. Sorry.

It's probably not as bad as losing a cat, dog or guinea pig and I didn't cry or anything. But still... :-(

And I really hope things are getting better for you soon. *extra hugs* <3
