Random holiday picspam 2: Paris (2002/2004) ~pt.1~

I've been to lovely Paris several times by now. :-) These pictures from 2002 and 2004 are the only ones I have in digital form though... Which is a pity, I really would've liked to share some pics of Disneyland Paris (where I was twice). :D *lol*

(This picspam will be in 2 parts, because I don't want to have more than ~45 photos in one post.)

Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre

view from Sacré-Cœur (this was pretty early in the morning, so it's rather misty...)

Place des Vosges

Hôtel de Sully

Moulin Rouge

La Seine

Palais de Justice

Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris

inside Notre-Dame (sorry for the blurriness...)

Hôtel de ville (city hall)

Tour Eiffel

Arc de triomphe de l’Étoile

Avenue des Champs-Élysées

Place de la Concorde

Musée d’Orsay

Arche de la Défense (aka Grande Arche)

La Défense

views across Paris from the Tour Montparnasse

Jardin des Tuileries

Arc de triomphe du Carrousel

Bonus:

On 23 July 2004 I was innocently strolling down the Champs-Élysées. *g* Then I came to this cinema where lots and lots of people were standing around, behind barriers that formed some sort of passage from the road to the entrance.

I figured it must be some kind of premiere of "I, Robot", so I decided to wait around for a bit to see what happened. ;-) After a while some probably important (or at least invited *g*) people started to arrive. Including...

Will Smith!! Unfortunately this is the only photo I was able to take where you can actually recognise something...
I was standing right behind the woman whose hand he's grabbing here, so I could've touched him if I wanted. ;-)

Apparently that woman is Mia Frye. I had never heard of her before though... *shrugs*

I've been to Paris in 1994, I think. Disneyworld had just opened...

Disneyland Paris opened in 1992. We were there the very same year, and then one more time the year afterwards. I found my tickets (which are quite cute *gg*) just the other day. :D

Anyways, that is indeed a bit further back... ;-)
