Torchwood - Children Of Earth: Day One (Spoilers!)

Just finished watching episode 3x01 of Torchwood: "Children Of Earth: Day One".
OH... MY... GOD!! How totally thrilling was that!?! Might have forgotten to breathe for some split seconds. *g*

Some thoughts/comments:
(I actually took a few notes during the episode for this, to make sure not to forget things *lol*)

- well, I miss Owen and Tosh. The Hub just seems so empty. :-(
- Ianto and Jack and that "couple" talk *gg*  Quite funny.
- this Dr. Patanjali seemed quite nice. I really thought he might join the team when he showed up near the Hub... Rather a shock that he shot Jack then. *yikes* 
- Jack has a daughter and even grandson? *wow* At first I thought I didn't hear correctly when that woman called Jack "dad" *g*
- Ianto telling his sister(?) about his love to Jack: "It's not men. It's just him. It's only him." *sighs* 
- some guys nicking the Torchwood car despite it's "triple deadlock". Poor Ianto. *gg*
- Ianto and Jack, when Jack returned after being shot:  Ianto: "They killed you?"  Jack "Yeah."  *Ianto hugs him*  - Awwww. So cute. :-)
  Also the goodbye kiss between the two at the end. *melts*
- Gwen IS pregnant. *wow again* She doesn't look too enthusiastic, but at least says it's "brilliant". *gg* Interesting kind of pregnancy test, by the way. ;-)
- a BOMB inside Jack's stomach?? WTF! Poor Jack. :-( Huge explosion indeed!
- what is it with the children?? *curious* All the children in the world stopping at exactly the same moment. And that "We are coming" chanting. Very spooky!
- also curious about what happened to Clement McDonald. How is he able to smell if Gwen tells the truth and that she's pregnant? Mhhh.
 

Definitely loved this episode! Can't wait to see the next ones. :-)

Also über das Jack/Ianto Couple musste ich auch so lachen.. War total amüsant *lol*. Mit Dr. Patanjali haben die mich auch gekriegt. Hab wirklich gedacht, dass er jetzt das Team unterstützt. Ist ne Schande, ich finde Rik nämlich ganz süß, darum ist er jetzt auch in meiner Sidebar *hihih*. War auch völlig überrascht, dass Jack Dad und Grand-Dad ist.. Da hab ich nicht wirklich mit gerechnet.

Yep, das ist Ianto's Schwester. Fand das interessant.. it's not men.. it's just HIM... so süß...

Oh Gott.. dieser Goodbye Kiss... *seufz*.. Leider war ja keine Zeit für nen richtigen Abschied.

Das mit der Bombe hat mich voll umgehauen.. auf DIE Idee wäre ich nie gekommen, warum die Explosion da ist.

Zum Rest halt ich mal lieber den Mund *gg*.

Die Staffel ist wirklich genial.

*gg* Schön, dass wir einer Meinung sind. ;-)

Bin schon echt gespannt wie's weitergeht! *bibber* Wollte ja gestern eigentlich auch noch Folge 2+3 gucken, aber da ich erst so spät angefangen habe, war ich doch schon recht kaputt... *schnief* Naja, aber heute abend dann! Hab mittlerweile auch schon Folge 4, mal sehen ob's dann diesmal ein Triple-Feature wird. *gg*

Endlich mal jemand, der die Folgen schon gesehen hat, und wo ich mich dann auch auslassen kann, nachdem alles andere um mich herum ja auch blockt.

Die erste Folge war ein süßer Auftakt, so wie man die beiden ersten Staffel kannte. Gewitzel und Spannung, nur man merkte auch da schon, wie es schrittweise düster war. Lustig fand ich Gwens hysterischen Lacher als sie kapierte, dass sie schwanger war, und die Verbundenheit zwischen Ianto und Jack, aber noch hat Jack nicht realisiert, was Ianto für ihn fühlte.

Und das Ende. Puh. Da hat man sich auch gefragt, wie er sich da wieder regeneriert.
