Torchwood - Children Of Earth: Day Two + Three (Spoilers!)

Have seen Day Two and Day Three of "Torchwood - Children Of Earth" (episodes 3x02 + 3x03) now. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! The suspense continues and is ever increasing.

Thoughts/comments:

Day Two:
- the Hub destroyed *sobs* I loved the Hub. :-(
- Gwen + Rhys on the run, as well as Ianto. Why do those people want to get rid of Torchwood? *hmmm*
- Gwen "tells" Rhys that she's pregnant. He's really delighted. Awww.
- poor Jack, for what he's going through!! :-( Being set in concrete doesn't sound like a lot of fun either. *arrghh* But quite intriguing how he's able to "rebuild" himself from just a few body parts.
- Lois risking her job by helping Gwen and Rhys, telling them how to get to the place where Jack is. Nice.
- Ianto nicking Jack's concrete cell with an excavator. *lol* Rescuing Gwen and Rhys as well, who were just being caught. *big hero*
- NAKED and dirty Jack! *squee* Very nice. ;-) Loved how the others looked at him. *gg* And Jack just putting Rhys' jacket casually over his shoulder. *lol*
- I am SO excited who or what is coming "tomorrow"! They obviously need some preparation with that chamber that was built and flooded with "poison"... 

Day Three:
- the Torchwood team is trying to make the best of their situation, setting up their new headquarters in an old, long abandoned Torchwood holding facility ("Torchwood 1"), and they're actually "behaving like criminals" (thanks, Rhys *g*) to come by some money and equipment. ;-) Ianto also gets them new clothes later, which especially makes Jack happy who was complaining about his outfit *lol* So now he's back in a long coat. *woo-hoo*
- I loved the conversation between Ianto and Jack about how Jack will eventually have to see Ianto die and then live on, etc... *sighs* Very touching. :-( And the bit where they tried to get rid of Rhys to be alone was brilliant. *lol*
- the government people finally got Jack's daughter and grandson *damn* I kinda saw that coming, but still hoped they would succeed with their escape...
- the 456 arrive through a "pillar of fire" right into the prepared chamber in the Thames House. You can't really see much of them though, due to all that fog in there... 
- Lois is quite brave again, feeding Torchwood video footage of the "negotiations" with the 456. 
- OMG, they want 10% of the children of the Earth! *help* 
- WTF??! It was JACK who gave away 12 kids to them back in 1965! *yikes* What did he do that for?
 

Fantastic episodes again. So exciting. They are really outdoing themselves with the 3rd series!

Bei den meisten Punkte ist es genau das, was mir auch so durch den Kopf ging. Ich hab so gelacht, als Jack die angebotene Jacke einfach nur über die Schulter wirft - typisch Jack *rofl* *lol*. Mich hat es einfach nur gewundert, dass es keinerlei Umarmung gab. Ich meine Jack konnte nicht wissen, dass die beiden überlebt haben und ganz besonder Ianto musste doch überglücklich sein, dass Jack wieder da war. Vielleicht war halt das Adamskostüm ein wenig störend *hihi*

Die haben sich doch ganz gut beim Klauen geschlagen *lol*. Ich musste wieder so lachen, als Jack natürlich dann so einen exklusiven Sportwagen geklaut hat *todlach* *gg*. Auch, dass er sich über die Kleidung beschwert hat *lol* und wie happy er war, als er seine alten Klamotten wieder hatte (also vom Outfit her). Das Gespräch zwischen Jack und Ianto fand ich auch sehr touching (ein dt. Wort hört sich doof an). Und als die dann versucht haben 20 ... ne 30 Minuten für sich alleine zu haben und die blöden Bohnen schon fertig waren *todlach* *rofl* *lol*

Die 10 % sind wohl ziemlich in RTD's Hirn eingebrannt. Der Master wollte ja 10 % aller Menschen auslöschen ;-).

So stand ich auch da.. warum zum Teufel hat Jack bloß die 12 Kids ihrem Schicksal überlassen? Aber dann hab ich mir gedacht, dass es bestimmt noch was gibt und ihn erstmal nicht dafür verurteilt. Ob das richtig war oder nicht, verrate ich natürlich nicht.. Das waren eben genau die Gedanken zum Ende der 3. Folge.

Folge zwei und drei waren auch noch gut - spannend und dramatisch - und gerade in Folge zwei hat man ja auch mitgefiebert, wie die Helden wieder zusammen fügen. Ich fand es schön, dass auch Normalos wie Rhys und Iantos Schwester in die ganze Sache mit eingebunden wurden.
Das zeigt, dass auch sie irgendwie zu Helden werden können, ohne gleich mit Superkräften und was weiß ich ausgestattet zu sein.
Und die Sache mit dem Zement - makaber, makaber, aber die Dame hatte recht.

Tag drei wurde dann ja immer düsterer und böser. Auch wenn der Anfang noch sehr lustig war. Die Diebstähle und Iantos und Jacks Versuche sich näher zu kommen.

Man hat richtig gemerkt, dass Jack erst jetzt realisierte, was eigentlich los und bumm - da war auch irgendwie seine Gelassenheit weg.

Tja und dann... aber da warte ich, bis du sie gesehen hat. Eine Warnung habe ich - sieh sie dir nicht vor dem Schlafen gehen an! Ich habe gestern Abend einen Marathon gemacht und alle fünf Folgen hintereinander gesehen ... und prompt war ich so aufgewühlt, dass ich nicht schlafen konnte.

Und auf jeden Fall Taschentücher bereit legen!
