Animals, flowers and more *g*

The weather was so beautiful today that I spent 4 hours outside. :-) Taking a random walk through the city, taking lots of photographs (seriously, more than 100!), having a little snack while sitting in the sun, and in between it all buying a couple of things that I needed.

Then I passed the site where they are currently demolishing a former department store (Karstadt) which has been empty for about a year now (wow, how time flies!). It's quite interesting to see how it slowly "vanishes" bit by bit. But also a little... sad, I guess. I mean, it's always been there for as long as I live (and longer of course). :-( They'll build something new there when they're done. 
         
         
         


         
         
         

When I passed our little local aquarium it was almost time for the feeding of the harbour seals. As I had never seen it before (not that I remember anyway *lol*), I waited around to watch.
         
         
         
         


         
         



In other news: I'm going to see Hugh Laurie live on 27 April!! *squee* He'll be presenting his new album, which will be released at the end of April. I'm looking very much forward to it. \o/ I'm pretty much broke as it is, but this is a one-time opportunity to get even remotely close to him, so I just had to take it. :D
Thanks so much to maggi137 for letting me know about this! *hugs* I would have totally missed it otherwise. It would be really nice if we could meet up there too. :-)

Mhh, I'm not sure if I know exactly what you mean by that...

Apparently Hugh is a fan of that kind of music, and therefore decided to make a CD.

Ah ok. Ich dachte, es hatte vielleicht was mit Band from TV zu tun. Kennst du doch sicher oder? Er macht doch auch Musik mit ein paar Leuten von anderen Serien, wie Greg Grunberg von Heroes, oder Jesse Spencer (House), Terri Hatcher und James Denton (Desperate Housewives)... Das fände ich mal cool zu sehen. :)
