Animals, flowers and more *g*

The weather was so beautiful today that I spent 4 hours outside. :-) Taking a random walk through the city, taking lots of photographs (seriously, more than 100!), having a little snack while sitting in the sun, and in between it all buying a couple of things that I needed.

(as usual, click photos to enlarge)

Then I passed the site where they are currently demolishing a former department store (Karstadt) which has been empty for about a year now (wow, how time flies!). It's quite interesting to see how it slowly "vanishes" bit by bit. But also a little... sad, I guess. I mean, it's always been there for as long as I live (and longer of course). :-( They'll build something new there when they're done.

When I passed our little local aquarium it was almost time for the feeding of the harbour seals. As I had never seen it before (not that I remember anyway *lol*), I waited around to watch.

In other news: I'm going to see Hugh Laurie live on 27 April!! *squee* He'll be presenting his new album, which will be released at the end of April. I'm looking very much forward to it. \o/ I'm pretty much broke as it is, but this is a one-time opportunity to get even remotely close to him, so I just had to take it. :D
Thanks so much to [livejournal.com profile] maggi137 for letting me know about this! *hugs* I would have totally missed it otherwise. It would be really nice if we could meet up there too. :-)

Enjoy Hugh Laurie ♥

Lovely Photos ♥

Are those ducks or geese? I can never tell.

Thank you. :-)

It should be geese. I think. *g* I'm not an expert either. ;-) But they were quite big.
