Seems like once again I don't get my notifs properly... So sorry if I should miss any of your entries or comments. :-(

I'm currently on some kind of "watch everything that has Tim DeKay in it" run. *lol* :D
So today I watched Peaceful Warrior. Wow, very good movie! I highly enjoyed it. :-) Quite moving and inspiring. And I thought the robbery scene was quite funny. *gg* Wasn't always easy to understand Nick Nolte, though. ;-) He tends to mumble a bit, or maybe that's an accent or just my imagination, idk.

Btw, has anyone of you seen Carnivàle and could give me an opinion about it? It's pretty high up on my "next"-list.
;-) Looks a bit weird, but interesting...

OMG, we won 4:1 against England!!! \o/ Unbelievable!! *does the happy dance*
That was an amazing game, very thrilling! Well played, boys!! :-)

We were a bit lucky with the goal that they didn't allow for England, though. Would it have made a difference? Who knows...

But we are in the quarter final!! YAY!!! \o/
Who do we play next?

At the moment I'm totally obsessed and in love with White Collar again. ♥
I had watched the first 4 episodes last year, and then somehow put it aside, 'cause so many other shows I was interested in came in the way and I didn't have time for everything... *sighs* So after I finished Season 2 of Castle last week (which was excellent too!! <3), I finally watched the rest of the episodes, finishing yesterday. :-) Such a great show!!

Hence I also changed my computer wallpaper to this:

<3 <3
Can't wait until 13 July, when the new season starts! \o/

--------------------

In other news... the Germany vs. Ghana football game yesterday nearly killed me! My nerves were on edge the whole time! Ghana was really strong, and I didn't think it was the best performance of our boys. We seemed a bit unorganised or something at times... But in the end we won (thanks, Özil!) and are in the round of sixteen! Yay! \o/ After all, it's the result that counts. :D

So, playing against England on Sunday. That's gonna be interesting. *waves at f-list* ;-)

Last night I went to see the MerQury concert at the Kiel Week (Kieler Woche).
It was great, I had such a blast!!! <3 \o/

MerQury are a Queen tribute band, and they really are brilliant.
This was my 7th time to see them live since I first came across them at a carnival party in 2002. I was quite enthusiastic about them right away and have seen them every year at the Kiel Week ever since (they weren't there in 2005 and 2006 though, sadly). :-)

I arrived at the stage quite early, so I watched them setting up their gear and tuning their instruments and stuff.
They started shortly after 10 p.m. and played for slightly more than 2 hours.
As usual I was standing in the first row, right in front of Volker's (the bass player) microphone. :D
I meant to take only a couple of pictures this time, but ended up with more than 100 again... *lol*

Beware! LOADS of photos under the cut! )

I also managed to get the guys' autographs after the show. :-)

Here's their website, if you'd like to check them out: MerQury

- I'm loving my new coffee machine!! <3 It's a Philips Senseo Latte Select and it was a gift from my granny. :-) There wasn't even a special occasion for it. She wanted to buy one for herself (the "normal" Senseo, though) and had heard that I would like to have one too sometime. :D So she just bought both of them! Yay for generous family members! \o/ *g*

- Was jogging again today. If you can call it that... *lol* Was only for about 12 minutes, to check out how long one lap around the park would take. ;-) But now I know for future reference, and can maybe establish 3-4 laps as a normal training, and then increase the number in a few months time or so.

- At the moment I'm catching up on Season 2 of Castle. I still love that show. The last two episodes, "Tick Tick Tick..." and "Boom!", were really good and gripping! Only 6 more episodes to go now, sadly...

Just a quick note to show I'm still alive. *lol* ;-) Really haven't been around here much for so long again... *sighs* Hope I'll find the time for some more regular updates again now.

So, what's new? Mhhh...

- Have done some sport this week! Go me!! *lol* Had not gotten any exercise for, um, several years, I guess. *coughs* Always gaining weight and being too lazy to do anything about it... You know how it is. ;-) So, FINALLY I went jogging twice this week, on Thursday and today. Both times for about 50 minutes! \o/ I was really surprised about that, didn't think I'd even last 10 minutes. *lol*  Ok, granted there were 3 short "walking breaks", but strictly speaking they wouldn't have been necessary I guess, or maybe only 1 of them. But we wouldn't want to overdo it the first time now, would we? :-p *gg* Well, actually it felt pretty good and I intend to keep it up at least once or twice a week. :-) Each time getting a bit better I hope.

- Got into contact with an email friend again of whom I hadn't heard for about 7 years! I'm totally happy about it!!! <3
We first got to know each other in a forum while I was spending my 6 months internship in England in 2002. Also met each other in person in London once during that time for a concert, which was great fun. Then sadly in 2003, a while after I had returned back home to Germany, we somehow lost contact... Then some time at the end of last year I sent a short email to her, not really expecting much of it, because after such a long time her mail-address might well have been dead... For a long time nothing happened and I had already forgotten all about it. But then, at the end of April this year, there was a reply! I only found it last weekend though, because it was to one of my email-addresses that I don't really use anymore. I replied right away of course and got an answer back, so yay! Really hope we manage to keep in touch now, but I have a good feeling about it. :-)

- Finally caught up with Doctor Who yesterday. YAY! Still enjoying Matt Smith's Doctor. :-) Loved the episodes "The Time Of Angels" & "Flesh And Stone" and "Amy's Choice". The last two, "The Hungry Earth" & "Cold Blood", were really good too. :-) So tomorrow I'm going to watch today's episode. Looking forward to it!

- Also watched Terry Pratchett's Going Postal. Which was awesome!! LOVED it!! <3 And OMG, I fell in love with Richard Coyle all over again!! *sighs* He was sooo cute in this! ♥♥

The rest of the cast was very good too. :-) Although I'd still have prefered Vetinari (one of my favourite Discworld characters!) to have dark and a little longer hair... ;-)

Finally got to see "St. Trinian's 2 - The Legend Of Fritton's Gold" today. Well... not my kind of movie, I guess. ;-) I found it pretty daft to be honest...
But David was so brilliant!! <3 *lol* Loved the scenes with him, all of them! His "helicopter entrance" was very cool indeed. :D Although I'm still not too sure about his hairstyle... *gg*

Oh, and there was Colin, of course. <3

I also enjoyed the Globe Theatre scenes. I really need to get inside it some time!

As today is Mother's Day here, I spent the day with my parents. We had a nice time. :-)
Talked a lot about all kinds of things, drank some coffee, talked some more...
Then in the evening we went to a Pizzeria, where I had Tagliatelle in a cream sauce with salmon. It was most delicious. <3

This was my gift for my mum:

I had some problems trying to take a good photo. *lol* Needless to say it looks a lot better "in real". ;-) And you can't really see the little butterfly and dragonfly clips in the pic, they are pretty cute.
My mum loved it, which makes me very happy. <3
