- I'm all caught up with Community. Hooray! *g* All in all I liked season 1 a little better than season 2, but I'm still enjoying it. :-) And I think next week the hiatus is finally over. *yay*
My favourite episode of season 2 (so far) is "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons" (2x14). So cool! :D

- Finally got round to starting with Hawaii Five-0 (the remake, obviously) and watched the first 2 episodes yesterday. And what can I say... I think I'm loving it already! <3 Really, really entertaining! Plus a beautiful location and a very cool cast. :-)

So, hello new fandom. :D I definitely need 1-2 icons of the show (any recs for comms?), even though I'm almost out of free icon space already... *whines*

- Also watched the first 2 episodes of season 6 of Supernatural yesterday. Not sure if I'll finish catching up until next week (the hiatus is over then, right?)... but I'm quite confident I can at least make it until the week after that. :D

- My Hugh Laurie ticket arrived today. \o/ YAYS!!! So I guess now it's official that I'm going. :D

- Thanks to corpsebride05 I now have a Dreamwidth account, here. If anyone of you is over there too, please link me to your accounts so I can add you. :-) I'm not sure yet if I'm actually going to use it, though... I'm building up my profile at the moment, just in case. *gg*

But a miracle happened: I'm finally getting LJ notifs again! Woohoo! *lol* Getting loads of messages that were lost during these last few weeks now is a bit anoying though. Thanks, LJ. :p

Anyone here who celebrates it? I'm trying to think of some Irish/Ireland-related movies or TV shows I could watch later. Divorcing Jack, maybe? Father Ted? *ponders*
And I wore a green jumper for school today. :D No shamrocks though. *gg*

Speaking of school... We're in the middle of our 2-week test period at the moment. *eek*
Things aren't actually going too well for me. *sighs* Especially today's "Redacción de carta" (letter writing) as well as the "Specific Translation: German-English" yesterday were a complete disaster. :-( Spanish oral/interpreting today wasn't that great either...
As of now I only hope I somehow survive tomorrow (English interpreting *panics*) and the next week! All fingers crossed would be much appreciated. ;-)

Still don't have my new laptop. :-( It wouldn't boot anymore, so we had to give it back to have it checked/fixed. Hope they hurry, but it might take up to 3 weeks... Damn.

And in TV news:

The German DVD of Primeval series 4 will be released on 27 May. YAY!!! \o/ I'm really looking forward to that. :-) So I don't have to buy the UK version after all (I wouldn't have had a problem with that of course, but I already have the German releases of series 1-3, so... ;-)).

I'm halfway through Supernatural's season 5 now. There might be a slight chance for me to be all caught up before season 6 ends, after all. :D *lol*

And, after all the things I heard about it thanks to the FMM (Damn you! *lol* And I still wanted Eleven to win! *pouts*), I decided to give Community a try. ;-) So I watched the whole first season within 3 days (could have easily made that 2, but I had to at least pretend to be learning a little for my tests *lol*). I wasn't that enthusiastic about it at first, tbh. Didn't really think it was very funny either... But in the course of the season the characters have really grown on me. :-) I think my favourites are Abed, Jeff and Annie. And Troy might be up there with them soon, too. *g* But they're all great really.
And the paintball episode (1x23 "Modern Warfare") sure was awesome!! :D
Also, I just loved this scene. <3

Yesterday we bought my birthday present. \o/

Well, technically half of it is already mine as I used my gift certificate from work. *g* The rest will be my present from my family. :-)
We originally wanted to buy another one (an ASUS) that was on sales promotion, but then we saw this one. It was a little bit more expensive, but it has a bigger hard drive (500 GB) and a slightly better CPU. It was also a display item, so we got an extra 15€ off the price (yeah, not that much, but still better than nothing).

Unfortunately my parents took it home with them so I can't play with it yet. Damn. :p
But I'm looking forward to it! Guess it'll be a lot of "fun" to install all my old programs... *lol*

In other news: I'm already more than halfway through Supernatural season 4 now. Go, me! *gg* I'm really enjoying it! <3 Guess I'll have to start looking for season 5 & 6 episodes soon. ;-)

Oh, and a couple of days ago I watched "Burke & Hare" (the one with Simon Pegg). I liked it. I thought it was quite entertaining. Great cast, too. :-)

I've been quite busy watching Supernatural this past week. :D So I just finished season 3. OMFG! I think I stopped breathing a couple of times during the last episode. *lol*
Cannot wait to start with season 4!!! \o/

Busy day tomorrow - school, appointment at the hairdresser's (which is totally overdue, btw!), then my aunt's birthday party... So I'll probably won't have any time then. :-( *darn*

Ok, now I'll watch the gag reel to lighten my mood a bit. ;-) *gg* And then I'm off to bed. Nighty-night!

We have snow again since the weekend!! Not all that much, but still. If it's not getting more, I'm not even that annoyed. ;-) *g* Though I do miss the slightly warmer temperatures we already had.

I'm finally back to catching up with Supernatural. There was a week in between when I haven't seen any episode! *yikes* *lol* I have 3 episodes left of season 2 now, so I'm quite confident I'll finish it today. :-)

Also watched a couple of movies in the last few days.
The Ugly Truth - They had the DVD in the sale, so I couldn't resist. *g* I enjoyed it. :D
P.S. I Love You - Re-watch for JDM, really. ;-) *gg* Still think it's a beautiful movie. :-) Even had some tears coming this time. *sniffles*
Karla - Well... Definitely quite disturbing and unpleasant. I heard it's based on true events. There really are some sick people out there. :-( Solid performance from Misha and Laura though.
Over Her Dead Body - Really enjoyed this one too. I still love Paul Rudd. <3

On Wednesday I went to the theatre and saw "Crazy For You" again. Still very funny show! :D I enjoyed it so much once again. I especially like the scene with the two drunk Zanglers ("What Causes That"). *lol* Also, the songs are really growing on me. Usually this kind of... let's call it "classical" musical songs (in this case Gershwin) aren't quite my cup of tea, but some of these are really catchy. :-)
Unfortunately I had no luck with meeting Jens at the stagedoor afterwards. Also would've liked to see Karin. But, frankly, I only waited for about 20 minutes, because a) I was the only one there which always makes me feel highly uncomfortable *is very shy* ;-) and b) it was quite cold... Ah well, maybe will try again another time. Definitely going to see the musical again in March if I can get tickets, methinks. :D

Had to work yesterday and today, but on the plus side: I have tomorrow off! \o/ Yay for free saturdays!! :-) They are rare enough for me... *sighs*

Finally found the time to start with season 2 of Supernatural this week. \o/ Still loving this show!!! :D
But I have the feeling that I had seen at least 2 scenes before... The first one was in 1x22 "Devil's Trap", near the end when the boys and John get back to that motel room and John then "goes demonic". And the second one was in 2x02 "Everybody Loves A Clown", when they walk into that tent and Dean unknowingly asks the blind man if he had seen Mr. Cooper around + the short, quite funny dialogue that follows.
Weird. *g* Must have zapped through them when they were on TV or something. ;-)

I think the only shows I'm actually up-to-date with are White Collar, Primeval and The Big Bang Theory. *lol* Which are all fantastic by the way! <3 But God, there is sooo much else to catch up with... *help* ;-) *g*

Oh, and I did order season 4 after all. *whistles* I had some voucher for this one website, so the price was quite decent with that. :-)

Still don't have a proper icon. :-( Probably because it should be something from season 1 for now, I guess, and most of the ones I found are more recent of course... And me not really knowing what exactly I'm looking for doesn't help either. *lol* Ah well, I'll find something eventually. :D

Watched 2 more Supernatural episodes, so now I'm finished with disc 1 of season 1. I'm really starting to like it. Like... a lot! :D If anyone could point me in the direction of any good comms/sites where I can find icons, it'd be much appreciated. :-)

I ordered season 2 yesterday, btw. :D So it should arrive sometime next week. *yay* I was quite tempted to order season 4 as well, but I don't really have the money at the moment (it has only been released over here last month, so it's still a bit more pricy)...
