I had a nice day on Tuesday. :-) My parents and granny came by, and we had some coffee + cake, and later went out to a pizzeria.
Got some lovely presents too. My parents gave me a ticket to the musical "Ich war noch niemals in New York" (I've never been to New York). ♥ I'm so happy about it, because I really wanted to see it again before it closes in autumn. It's just so funny and I like the music. :-) From my grannys, aunts + uncles I got some money, which I'll save up for my summer trip to London. You can never have enough money there. :D
Friends' presents include season 3 of How I Met Your Mother *squee*, "Coraline" book, "Frankenstein" DVD (the Branagh one), a small Union Jack button badge, a NICI keyring pendant, and loads of sweets. Thank you so much, my sweethearts!!! *biggest hug*

On Saturday I'm going to celebrate a bit with the rest of the family.

Finally most of the snow is gone. Hooray for that!! ;-)
Instead it's raining most of the time now... But I guess I can live with that for a while. :D

After school I went browsing again in a department store, which is closing down and therefore has a sellout. There really wasn't much of interest left anymore...
But at least I treated myself to these two cuties. :-)

The lucky charm/keychain is a lion with little wings, called "Leonhart". The mouse is a photoholder.
They were both half price, that's 3€ each.

Was feeling pretty drained today. :-( Could've fallen asleep all the time, but tried everything not to.
I also have some headache now... *sighs* Just took an aspirin, and I'm hoping it'll be a bit better before I go to bed, so that I can at least sleep well.

They started showing Stargate Universe on TV here today, so I watched the first 2 episodes. Mhhh... Don't really know what to think of it. To be perfectly honest, I was a bit bored, and from time to time diverted my attention to my computer and loading audiobooks to my iPod . *lol* I didn't really care about the characters, most of them I didn't even find very likeable... Well, I'll try to continue watching for some more episodes and see if it (or my opinion about it *g*) improves. ;-)

Now "Battlestar Galactica - Razor" is on. I've never seen anything of BSG before and I know this is already set between season 3 and 4, so I don't have the slightest clue what's going on or who the people are. *lol* But it's JAMIE, so what the hell?! <3 :D I plan to watch the series from the beginning sometime soon, though...

Oh, and the trailers reminded me that season 2 of Dexter starts here on Sunday. (Yeah, I know we're way behind! ;-)) *yay* Though as I have the DVDs I might rather watch it on DVD and in English then. <3 It's a bit embarrassing really that I've already had the DVDs since April last year and still haven't watched it... *coughs* But now at least I have another good reason to. :D

Today was my father's birthday. It was quite a nice little party. Most of the family was there and a few of my parent's neighbours and friends.
I definitely ate too much though. *lol* And I even took a couple of pictures, which I haven't really done for a while at family partys (except last Christmas)...

Did I mention I hate the weather?!! It was snowing on and off today, so when I was driving home just now I could barely see the street, because everything was effing white! *moans*

Finished watching the first series of "Law & Order: UK" yesterday. I really enjoyed it. :-) I like the mix of police and court work. I don't actually know the original US show(s), so I don't have any comparison there. But the stories so far were good and interesting. I think they are simply remakes of original Law & Order episodes? Very good acting too, from all the main + supporting cast. Although admittedly I do have some difficulties with the accents sometimes and don't always understand quite everything people say. :D
Oh, and Jamie is just adorable, of course. <3 *g*
Looking forward to series 2. :-) (Or the rest of series 1? It's all a bit confusing. *lol*)
And I think I read there'll be a third series? Yay for that!

I can't believe it, but I'm FINALLY holding my "The Armstrong & Miller Show - Complete First and Second Series" DVD boxset in my hands! *squee*

Wow, I had almost given up hope by now. *lol*
I originally ordered it on 2 December 2009 (!), it was dispatched 1 or 2 days later... and never arrived! *doh* I usually receive my goods from that seller within 3-7 days, so after 4 weeks I wrote them an email, asking for a replacement. Which they kindly sent off on 5 January - and again, a loooong wait... It's been almost 6 weeks again and I was considering of writing them another email this week. ;-) But then on Friday I had a delivery notice in my letterbox, and was hoping it might be my A&M box, because I wasn't really expecting anything else.... Of course I had to work all day on Saturday, so I couldn't fetch the parcel from the post office until today. *sighs* But now at last I have it! YAY!!

Not sure if I'll find time today to watch some, but I definitely will tomorrow then! :-)
I've already seen series 1, so I'm still pondering if I should rewatch that one or start with series 2 right away. *g*

Today I took a nice walk through the park with my parents.
Afterwards we went to a coffeehouse, where I had a yummy waffle with pineapple and ice cream and a café au lait (white coffee).
All in all not a bad afternoon. :D
