Chaos, day 1...

Right, so my Hamburg report has to be postponed a few more days yet again... (I already tried to post it, but then LJ screwed up. *argh* Luckily I had saved most of it, but it needs to be finished again and I can't quite remember what I had written the first time...)

The reason being that we finally started renovating my living room! My mum and I cleared out all the shelves and cupboards and stuff and put everything into boxes which are now scattered around my bedroom and the kitchen. Especially my bedroom (which isn't that big to begin with) is almost fully laden. Won't be easy to find my bed these next few days. *lol* ;-)

So tomorrow we'll have to start tearing down the wallpapers. Sounds like fun! Or NOT... :p

Das steht mir nächstes Jahr auch ins Haus... mitsamt einem transnationalen Umzug (von England nach sonstwohin). Allerdings freue ich mich schon richtig auf vernünftige Wände... hier in England hat es leider erst die Hauswand, dann einen Hohlraum mit Leitungen und Rohren und dann eine Gipswand. Das heißt wenn man etwas schweres (wie eine Vorhangstange) an die Wand hängen möchte, braucht man Spezialdübel, Gips zur Notfall-Wandreparatur und viel Daumendrücken, daß das Ganze nach einem halben Jahr Vorhang-auf-und-zu-machen nicht wieder aus der Wand kommt. Da lobe ich mir unsere Betonwände, wo man nur aufpassen muß, daß man keine Leitung oder kein Rohr trifft. Viel Glück auf jeden Fall beim Renovieren!!!

*g* Danke! ;-) Zum Glück ist es diesmal echt nur das Wohnzimmer, das renoviert wird.
Werden jetzt erstmal 1-2 nervige, anstrengende und ungemütliche Wochen... Aber ich hoffe (und denke), dass sich das Ganze lohnen wird. :-)
