A day in Hamburg

Yesterday I spent the whole day in Hamburg. Had a very good time. :-)
My original plan was to walk around a bit and take lots of pictures, but again I ended up mostly in the shopping areas... :p Didn't want to take pictures of the same things as the last time(s) either, so I only took about 15-20 pics in the end, and most of them not even of interest to anyone else but me. *g*

Somewhere in Hamburg-Altona.


Also in Altona. I didn't know what it was at the time, but it looked pretty. *g*
Just looked it up and apparently it's the town hall.


I still love this ad. *lol*

This is the result of my shopping spree btw.




Not that much, but I'm happy with it. <3 (And it shows I am able to hold myself back during shopping sometimes. *lol*)

I had a ticket for Eure Mütter with their comedy program "Schieb, Du Sau" - EXTRA" in the evening. \o/
The venue was Schmidts Tivoli on the Reeperbahn. I arrived in St. Pauli about 1 hour earlier than I had intended, so I killed some time by walking up and down the Reeperbahn...

I came across the Grosse Freiheit by chance too. I think I've never been there before.



There were LOADS of people standing around outside the music club "Grosse Freiheit 36" which I found a bit odd but wasn't really sure if it's not normal for that area. I mean it is a popular address after all.



Today I found out that Sunrise Avenue were playing there last night. Mystery solved then. ;D


The Beatles-Platz (Beatles Square), at the crossroads of Grosse Freiheit and Reeperbahn.

From there I then returned to the Schmidts Tivoli.

I stood outside for another 5-10 minutes but then went inside because it was a bit cold.

So, Eure Mütter. :D This program is sort of a "Best Of" mix of their two programs "Schieb, Du Sau!" and "Runterschalten, Fresse halten!", both of which they don't play seperately anymore. Don't really want to say much about the show, just that I had SO. MUCH. FUN <3 and laughed so much, even though I had seen almost all of the numbers before (I think only 2 or 3 things were completely new for me) on DVD. But it's almost so much better to see it live! :D

After the show I bought their 1st DVD (the only one I was still missing) and had the booklet signed.



Also got my picture taken with the guys too of course, which turned out really well IMO. :-)



Afterwards I had to really hurry to catch my train home (didn't want to wait another hour at the station for the next one), but I made it. *yeah*

Altogether a very good day! Lots of fun was being had. :D

Yep, war echt ein klasse Tag. Vor allem natürlich die Show am Abend, ich liebe die 3! :D (Hab heute dann auch gleich Karten für Januar gekauft, da sind die wieder im Tivoli mit ihrem neuesten Programm. <3 *hehe*)
Hamburg ist übrigens auf jeden Fall nen Besuch wert. ;-) Ich bin immer wieder gerne dort.
