More TV talk

Was feeling pretty drained today. :-( Could've fallen asleep all the time, but tried everything not to.
I also have some headache now... *sighs* Just took an aspirin, and I'm hoping it'll be a bit better before I go to bed, so that I can at least sleep well.

They started showing Stargate Universe on TV here today, so I watched the first 2 episodes. Mhhh... Don't really know what to think of it. To be perfectly honest, I was a bit bored, and from time to time diverted my attention to my computer and loading audiobooks to my iPod . *lol* I didn't really care about the characters, most of them I didn't even find very likeable... Well, I'll try to continue watching for some more episodes and see if it (or my opinion about it *g*) improves. ;-)

Now "Battlestar Galactica - Razor" is on. I've never seen anything of BSG before and I know this is already set between season 3 and 4, so I don't have the slightest clue what's going on or who the people are. *lol* But it's JAMIE, so what the hell?! <3 :D I plan to watch the series from the beginning sometime soon, though...

Oh, and the trailers reminded me that season 2 of Dexter starts here on Sunday. (Yeah, I know we're way behind! ;-)) *yay* Though as I have the DVDs I might rather watch it on DVD and in English then. <3 It's a bit embarrassing really that I've already had the DVDs since April last year and still haven't watched it... *coughs* But now at least I have another good reason to. :D

I didn't hate SGU, but it never really managed to grab my complete interest. I think SGU is kind of an attempt to make a Stargate show that touches the Battlestar Galactica way of sci-fi (even the camera work), but gets a bit lost between the two and ended up not having much of an identity, or well, not enough for me to go past 5 or 6 episodes.

Now BSG, that is some good drama right there, not just sci-fi, but it's just such a great show! If you liked Razor at all I think you'll probably like the show, especially if you start at the very beginning and 'meet the characters' like that. I think out of all the show I still love the firt miniseries and start of 1st season most of all <3

Sorry I just went on and on, I'm way too chatty today! xD

I must admit I never really wanted to watch BSG... But I'm willing to sacrifice myself for Jamie. :D *lol* I really hope I'll like it though. If not, I'll at least have someone nice to look at. *whistles* ;-)
Razor was ok. Definitely more exciting than the SGU pilot.

I have the miniseries now, so hopefully I'll find the time to watch it on the weekend.

When I started watching BSG I had no idea who Jamie was, so that was a nice suprise ;D But you certainly will see a lot of him in it, and if you don't watch anything else, you can just watch the infamous towel scene xD

Razor isn't really a favorite of mine, I think the earlier seasons are much better in comparison :)
