Yay, our boys made the 3rd place of the World Cup!!! *does the happy dance* Won 3:2 against Uruguay today. \o/ So, CONGRATULATIONS!! :-)
It was a very good game again. They played so much better than against Spain!
The Uruguayan team gave us quite some frights with their goals though. ;-) But thanks to Khedira we got in the lead again in the 82nd minute and were able to hold it till the end. *yay*

Well done, Germany!

I really wanted Mueller to get another couple of goals to be in with a chance to get the golden boot trophy. And I was disappointed Klose didn't play. He only needed one more goal to become the highest German goal scorer in World Cup History - and two moals to become the highest goal scorer completely. Shame he didn't get chance to do that.

Yeah, sadly several of the "regular" team members couldn't play due to illness or injuries (Klose, Podolski, Lahm).
I was especially sorry for Klose too. It would have been a great achievement for him if he had made it as highest goalscorer.

But they all did a very good job nevertheless. <3

Yeah, that was a shame. Klose is 32 now so he probably won't get the chance again - he'll be 36 by the next one and out field players don't usually play at that age.

The whole team did great. Much better than people expected.

The game cost me all of my nervs. They played better than against Spain ... but our offensice middlefield was - again - exhausted. Sadly Lahm, Klose couldn't play. But they did a big and great fight. Coming back after 1:2 and keep the 3. Place.

Boys you did a hugh job and played a awesome tourney. Now we can also playing "NICE" like Brasil *lol*. Jogi Löw - you found the boys, took them together and made a great Team!

Yes, it was pretty thrilling. I really was afraid it was over for us, when Uruguay scored the second time... But the boys really did fight! Well done!!
