Today was the first day back to school. I already miss the holidays. :p *gg* Too bad we won't have any again until Christmas... *sighs*

We were given our Spanish tests back. Most of them weren't too great, as I already knew...
Grammar: 75% (2-)  [I'm quite glad though, I thought it would even be a bit worse, seeing how I struggled during the test *lol*]
Reading comprehension & vocabulary: 92,5% (1)  [that's fine]
Writing: 68% (3)  [yeah, not really good... I was running out of time during the 2nd exercise, so I a) wrote a good deal less than minimum and b) hadn't any time left to check for mistakes afterwards... so especially exercise 2 was pretty much a mess]
Listening comprehension: 85% (2+)  [that's alright]
Dictation: 70% (3+)  [should have been better too :-( some really stupid mistakes as well... *doh*]

Still need our Spanish oral marks, but actually I'm not too keen on that... *lol*

Also got back the first English test today, "Business letter composition". There were so many expressions I couldn't remember during the test, and I also left out 2 or 3 things we should have put in there... But I still have 86% (2+), so yay! Really didn't expect that. :-) It was even the second best of the class. :D
Not really looking forward to the other English tests. It can only get worse now... :p

And, to finish this post, a little random fact: Today I actually went and bought... a cat toy! *lol* Still no cat anywhere near to be seen, but I just couldn't resist. :D Can't hurt to get ready, can it? *gg* ;-)

Being back in school definitely stinks. x__x;

What kind of cat toy did you get, and what kind of cat(s) are you looking for? :o

(My other comment looked funny, so I deleted, lol...)

What's it called in English... cat catcher? It looks similar to the one with the blue stick in this picture: click (http://media.zooplus.com/bilder/spielangelset/1/300/7317_spielangel_set_1.jpg). The leathery things are a lot shorter in comparison to the stick though, and also have a few little feathers between them, and there's a little bell at the top of the stick... Might try to take a picture of it sometime. *gg*

Mhh, I haven't really decided on that... But I don't really want a special breed, just an ordinary house cat. :-)

Maybe you already know, but just to make sure: I'm not in "normal" school anymore. ;-) I'm doing a 2-year job training as a "Fremdsprachenkorrespondent/Wirtschaftsübersetzer und -dolmetscher". So half our courses are English, the other half Spanish.

Right. :D And I start with the more unimportant things at that... *lol* ;-)

Ah, understand. You like languages, though. Do you speak any other ?

Yay, better start with toys as by a cat-tree without a cat ... =)

Well, I vaguely remember a few French sentences and words... *lol* But not really "speaking" it anymore, no. ;-)

I totally want to learn Dutch, Russian and Swedish! Hope I'll get around to it sometime!
I actually started learning Russian and Swedish while I was at uni, but sadly had to stop after only a couple of lessons due to lack of time... :-( Also, I brought myself to understand quite a fair bit of Dutch by listening to musicals. :D

I tried to learn russian in school years ago. But I had to learn also new letters. And russian was to far away from any language I like.I give up after the first lesson *lol*.

So good luck with Dutch, Russian and Swedish.
