- I just registered for the 6km run of the Kiel.Lauf on 11 September! Yeah, I don't know what came over me either. :p *lol* I actually wasn't out jogging at all since... well, June or July last year, I think. O_O Haha! Really need to get into it again soon, I guess. ;-) But this is about the distance I ran back then, so it should be doable... Btw, not counting that one teeny-tiny junior triathlon I did when I was young (in my teens? I don't really remember...), this will be the first official sports event I'm actively participating in! Quite exciting! :D

- I think I'm finally rid of my neck problems. Hooray! \o/ Or at least for now...

- I'm going to see "Crazy For You" again on Sunday. <3 *yay* Unfortunately it'll be the last time though. *sniffles* Apart from Sunday there are only 2 more dates for it this month (both of which I can't go to) and then it's run at our opera house closes. :-(

- I'm officially in love with Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Simon Amstell right now. <3 I had only seen a couple of random NMTB episodes before, on account of some of the guests, and always really enjoyed it, so I started watching the show properly last week. Amstell's time as host (series 19-22) that is. I know many people don't like him and/or prefer Mark Lamarr (who I don't know)... But I think Simon's great! Deal with it! :p
I definitely need to make some space for some of the awesome NMTB icons that [livejournal.com profile] miss_jaffacake made (yours are the best!). :D I think with icons of my favourite quotes alone I could use up at least half of my total icon space... *lol*

I really liked Simon Amstell on Nevermind the Buzzcocks! Much preferred him to Mark Lamarr who I think became a bit of a pretentious douchebag towards the end of his run.

Have you ever seen any of Simon Amstell's previous show - "Pop World"? That show was brilliant when he was on it.

Glad your neck is better!

Quite glad you liked Simon too. :-)
Like I said, I don't know Lamarr at all. I have one of his episodes on my computer though because Ben Miller's a guest in it, so I'll check him out sometime (Lamarr, obviously, not Ben *lol*).

No, sadly I haven't seen anything of Pop World. :-( Maybe I can find bits on YouTube...

Thank you! Me too! *g*

Mark Lamarr's thing was just insulting the guests (and not in a loving way like Simon does), towards the end I just found him downright rude.

Pop World was cool - you could tell Simon really loved pop music even if he made fun of it sometimes. I hope you enjoy it if you find some clips.

Let's hope the pain doesn't come back again!

Wow.. fantastic on the 6km run..I have never been a runner... and appreciate those who do!!! Awesome on getting over the neck problem.. they can be so painful and impossible to get comfortable.
I will have to search out the shows.. they are not on tv here!
Let us know how the run goes!

Well, 6km seems like almost nothing compared to what my father does... But I'm naturally a very lazy person and always hated doing sports, so it's probably not that bad for me. ;D

You should check out Never Mind The Buzzcocks if you can find it. It's a comedy panel quiz show about music (or something like that *lol*). It's quite fun! :-) [It actually never was on TV here either, so thank God for the internet. *ahem* ;-)]

wow. 6 km. maybe not a long distance ... but for me too long. I am not good in running distance.

I am looking "Game of Thrones" these days. It's quit brutal and revealing but like the story and the countryside as well.

Uih, Icons from Sean Bean. That is just a coincidence, isn't it. Didn't see the icons before my entry. Sean Bean is one of the maincast in "Game of Thrones" ... =)

Yeah, it's not really that much... But I'm generally rather lazy, so I'm already quite happy with it. ;-) Hopefully I can slowly increase my running distance in the future as well...

I love Sean Bean. ♥ But haven't gotten around to watching Game Of Thrones yet... So many other shows to watch... ;-)
But I will get there eventually! I heard it is really good.
