luinaldaLast weekend I was away with my parents.
(Click photos to enlarge.)Friday we were in Röbel (Müritz). It's a nice small town in the Mecklenburg lakeland area (Mecklenburger Seenplatte).
Saturday at around 1 pm we arrived in Berlin. Here my parents dropped me off at a friend's, where I also stayed overnight. We had a nice time. :-) Did a little shopping at the Ku'damm and in the evening watched a bit of DVD. On Sunday late afternoon I then rejoined my parents. ;-) We made a short visit to the Reichstag (German parliament building), where you could follow the results and reports of the ongoing Bundestag elections on a big view screen outside.
Today (Monday) at around 11.30 am we left Berlin. We planned to make a stop in Schwerin on our way home, but it appeared to be quite crowded due to the German Federal Garden Show (Bundesgartenschau). So instead we made a visit to Lübeck for about 2 hours. Had a little walk around the city centre, which was nice.
Back home we had another dinner together at a restaurant, which was a good finish to an enjoyable little weekend trip.
