The last two aired episodes were "Claudia" (1x04) and "Elements" (1x05). I had missed the pilot episode due to the Hugh Laurie concert, but just watched that one too (Yay for the internet! ;-)). Very enjoyable show with cool characters. :D Will definitely continue watching and probably get the DVDs when they are released over here.
Oh, and nice to see Joe Flanigan in episode "Elements" btw. <3 Took me a bit by surprise though. *g* When I switched back after commercials and saw him, I thought for a few seconds that I had the wrong channel and was in some SGA rerun or something. *lol* (And yes, I should have noticed then that he wasn't wearing a uniform. :p *gg*)
Also watched the Community season 2 paintball finale. Which was pretty awesome! I especially loved the first part, "A Fistful Of Paintballs". <3 The opening credits sequence was already epic and it had

Little update
May. 12th, 2011 08:45 pmJust a couple of small things:
- I'm currently re-doing my profile page a bit. Adding some banners and stuff, which is kinda fun. :D (If anyone of you knows any comms or journals where I can find some nice "lovebars" of shows/people I've listed, please let me know! I'm having rather some difficulties there...)
- I dreamt of one of my f-listers last night, who, of course, I've never seen in real life (well, I've only met 3 people from my f-list in person so far, so chances were high *gg*)! :D *lol* Might this be a sign that I've been hanging around LJ too much lately? :p *gg* It was only an episode of a longer dream, and while maybe a bit weird I think it was quite pleasant. I actually only remember that I promised to drive this person to the station from where she could take the train home. I also remember seeing some kind of map. Geography was a bit nuts though. *lol* With me being in Germany and her living in England it should have been necessary to cross the English Channel at some point... ;-) But apparently it wasn't because our countries were adjoined in my dream. Hahaha! Like I said, weird. :D
- I'm almost caught up with Hawaii Five-0 now. *yay* Should be able to watch the rest tonight. :-) And then season finale on Monday already! Whoah! Is there any announcement yet if the show will be renewed for another season?? I sure hope it will be!!! *all fingers crossed* Also think I should post another picspam soon. :D

Comedy evening with Eure Mütter
May. 5th, 2011 11:32 pmI "discovered" them sometime last year in a German comedy show on TV (don't even remember which one). I found their performance really funny, so I went to YouTube and watched some of their stuff there. Which was hilarious too. :D So I just HAD to get a ticket when I heard a couple of months back that they were doing a show here. :-)
They played one of their older programs, called "Nix da 'Leck mich!' Auf geht's!" (I'm not going to translate that, sorry *lol*). And I loved it. I was laughing so much! *lol* I knew 4 or 5 of the songs from YouTube, but it was great to see them live! It's always even better that way, isn't it? :D And the rest of the program I didn't know at all, so there were some nice surprises too. *gg*
They also did a great thing for the break - a drawing contest. *lol* :D One girl from the audience got to randomly pick a photo of the guys and we had to suggest some historic events (we ended up with the Discovery of America *g*). Then they handed out pens and cards with the chosen picture to everyone, and during the break we were supposed to draw something related to that historic event and include their picture into it.
After the break they showed about 10 of the pictures and we had to choose a winner. It was great fun. :D
I really hope they come back next year, like they said they might! :-) *fingers crossed*
After the show they sold their merchandise and gave autographs. I bought the DVD with this evening's program and had it signed. I also hung out a little longer to get a picture taken. They're really nice guys. :-)

Okay, I really start feeling like spamming you with this... *lol* Sorry. ;-)
But yesterday Hugh was a guest at the German TV show "Wetten, dass...?" (which I kinda hate, but bravely endured watching just for him :p *gg*). I have recorded his performance of "You Don't Know My Mind" and just uploaded it to YouTube, for anyone who's interested to take a look. :-)
Every time I hear this song I love it even more. <3
I bought his album yesterday, btw. Haven't listened to it properly yet, but will do so later today. :-)
Too bad one of my favourite songs from the concert ("Hallelujah, I Love Her So") isn't on it, though. *sniffles*

More Hugh Laurie live in Hamburg
Apr. 29th, 2011 11:14 pmI noticed several people filming during the concert, so I checked out youtube today and sure found a couple of short videos. They are quite good quality and give a little impression of the gig. :-)
Thanks to the filmers/uploaders! I saved them all as they are a great reminder of a wonderful evening. <3

Hugh Laurie concert 27/04/11
Apr. 28th, 2011 11:47 pmWe met up at about 5 p.m. (we were 6 people) and then went to a Thai restaurant on the Reeperbahn. I have no idea anymore what my dish was called (something with chicken *g*), but it was very yummy. :-) We ate and talked and had a nice time. At about 7.30 p.m. we left the restaurant and went over to the concert's location, the Café Keese. Doors had already opened at 7 p.m. and there was still quite a long queue waiting outside. But we got inside comparatively quick nevertheless.
The Café Keese isn't that big really and it was already very crowded. We made our way to about the middle of the room on the right side and stayed there. The stage was pretty low and frankly we couldn't really see anything. A bit of the microphone at the most, if we were lucky. ;-) *g* And it was really hot!
At 8 p.m. the band came on stage and started playing, and at some point Hugh must've joined them because the crowd started cheering some more. *gg* I didn't really see him at first, but caught some glimpses eventually.
He greeted us with some German sentences. :D Don't remember them exactly, but something along the lines of "Guten Abend" (good evening), "Willkommen..." (welcome) and "Mädchen und Jungen" (girls and boys). He also said then that that was actually all he knew in German. *g* And asked how many of us understood English. :D
My view actually got much better after about half of the concert and I could see Hugh quite without problems when he was standing at the microphone in the middle of the stage. *yay* I still had some problems when he was sitting at the piano on the left side, but at least I could see most of his head for most of the time then. *lol*
At the end, they got off the stage and when they came back on once more, Hugh said that that was actually all they had but they could just start all over again. *lol* We sure wouldn't have minded. :D They played one more song and then it was over (~ 9.30 p.m.).
I really enjoyed the music (even though I don't normally listen to Blues tbh) and I'm definitely going to buy his album! :-) [BTW, can somebody tell me why the German Amazon lists it twice? Both with different prices and release dates? *is confused*]. I think I liked 3 songs in particular. One of them was "Let them talk". I don't remember the titles of the other ones, so I'll have to try and find them on the CD. *g*
I thought the audience was in a pretty good mood too. :-) Altogether nice atmosphere.
Several people wore House shirts (who'd have thought, right? :p)
