Dec. 1st, 2009 09:18 amYesterday I was baking christmas cookies with my mother. *yum*
Afterwards we played some Singstar which he haven't done in a long time. It was fun.
I totally have to learn those stupid English tenses!! *doh* In our last grammar lessons for example we talked about future tenses (will, going to...) and I had about half of the exercises wrong. :-(
I'm not too worried about Spanish. I'll mostly have to look at the vocabulary (which is quite a lot, though!) and maybe some irregular verbs.
Afterwards we played some Singstar which he haven't done in a long time. It was fun.
My father is in the hospital until tomorrow. It's more than a 1 hour drive and my mother is working today and tomorrow anyway, so sadly we can't go and visit him. He had to lie in bed yesterday after the operation and was really bored, so he called about everyone from the family. *lol* I think today he is allowed to walk around again, which should be a bit of an improvement.

TW Calendar

My Torchwood calendar arrived today. :-) The pictures are very nice (promo pics of CoE, obviously). My favourite still is the Jack+Ianto one (for the month of August). ♥ *points at icon* Then there are 3 pics of the whole TW team (Jack/Ianto/Gwen), 3 of Jack alone, 1 of Ianto alone, 2 of Gwen alone, 1 of Rhys alone and 1 of Gwen+Rhys. What really agitated me was the delivery guy, though. *argh* I was standing near the window, so I actually saw him arrive. He went up to our house entrance with 3 or 4 parcels in his arms, one of which I undoubtedly recognised as mine (big, flat one... you know). Then he vanished into our house and I waited. And waited... As my doorbell didn't ring, which was apparently what I expected, I looked out of my window again. Only to see the deliveryman getting back to his van and driving away. Mhhhh. I then decided to check my letterbox, just in case he had dropped a notification card or something. But nooo, he had just put the parcel below the letterboxes! WTF?!! Anyone could have taken it away from there! *doh* Besides, you always have to sign for Amazon deliveries, as far as I know. I wonder what he did about that!?!

They aren't really anything special, but then again I'm only just at the beginning of learning to use brushes and textures...

Aquarium update
Nov. 18th, 2009 06:45 pmAfter several weeks of laziness *shame on me*, I at last had a big cleanup in my aquarium again yesterday. It still isn't perfect of course, but believe me it looks WAY better than before.

Still feels quite empty though, with only 4 inhabitants...
I intend to get some new fish either on saturday or next week. Maybe 1 or 2 small new plants, too.

Well, I finally got round to watching the "Waters Of Mars" special.
Wow!!! I'm still a bit lost for words actually... but all in all I really liked it!
Very enthralling I think, good special effects and David as well as Lindsay Duncan were billiant!
And the end was very... dark. *mhh*
Not able to say more at this point...

Nov. 13th, 2009 04:46 pmThe weather is terrible today. The temperature isn't actually that low (~ 9 °C), but I was really freezing at school! And it's raining the whole time... :-(
For writing homework we have to write 250-300 words about the life and work of a famous person. Hmm. I think I'll go for Shakespeare. Because, well, I obviously love him! Although probably not so much him as a person, but more his work. *lol* Just in case you're worried. ;-) *g*
I'll still have a look around the internet and look for other famous people who might be interesting. Any suggestions?

Guest stars were David Tennant *yay*, Johnny Vegas and Alison Moyet.
It was a very good show, and I had to laugh a lot. :D I really enjoyed it. Still I think it wasn't quite as hilarious as the last time David was on the show (2007, was it?).
David was as adorable as ever, of course. ♥
