So, this time I decided to visit some of the places where "Sherlock" was filmed. :D
I actually didn't get to see all that were on my list, but I think I managed most of the important ones...

Part 8 )

Coming next is an entry about my 4 theatre visits, including some stagedoor photos. :D This'll probably take a while longer though, because I want to write at least 2-3 sentences about each one and it might not be that easy to put all my thoughts and feels into words sometimes... ;-) *g*

- Did get like 3-4 hours sleep last night, and totally feel like it too... *is dead*

- I couldn't resist any longer and ordered the Sherlock DVD last night! :D Hope it arrives quickly, so I can do a rewatch of the series. <3<3 Me obsessed much? Whatever gave you that idea? :p *lol*

- Still have to work on that effing Spanish Chile presentation, which I have to give on Thursday morning. DO NOT WANT! *sighs*

- Speaking of school... some more test results have come up.
  (English) Grammar: 92% (1)  [yay!]
(English) Writing: 83% (2)  [that's not bad. considering the stupid stuff I wrote... *lol*]
(English) Commerce: 70% (3+)  [should have been a bit better, I guess... ah well]
We should get the rest of them during this week, I think.
And only 3 more weeks now until the next test period... EEK!!!

Yesterday I watched the first episode - "A Study in Pink" - of BBC's new Sherlock series.
I really LOVED it!! <3 It was brilliant and very entertaining. I enjoyed it so much. :-)

I didn't know anything about it beforehand, so I was actually a bit surprised to see that it takes place in contemporary London, with high-tech mobile phones, computers and all... ;-) I'm not really familiar with the classic Sherlock Holmes (I have only seen I think 1 episode of the Jeremy Brett series and read 1 or 2 stories), so I didn't mind the modern touch. I quite liked the idea of the text appearing on screen when they were sending/receiving text messages or the like.

It had some funny moments as well. :D For some reason Sherlock's "Why have I got this blanket? They keep putting this blanket on me." (and the rest of that dialogue) towards the end totally cracked me up. *rofl* IDK *g*

I think Benedict Cumberbatch was great as Sherlock! :-) And I can totally see why some people were reminded of The Doctor by him! I had that feeling most of the time, too. :D *g*  Oh, and I love his voice!!
Martin Freeman, who I always liked since Love Actually, was fab as John Watson, too. :-) Nice to also see some of Watson's "dark", tormented side.

So, looking very much forward to the other 2 episodes! :-)

I definitely need some icons for this show. <3 So if anyone has a recommendation where to find good ones, let me know. ;-) Thanks!

Mhh, this has quite set me in the mood, so I might finally watch the Sherlock Holmes movie with RDJ/Law tonight (yeah, I still haven't seen that one *blushes*)... *lol*
